How can Your Vote be stolen without your knowledge? Easy ....
To Steal Your Vote all that is needed is a letter to your local council showing your address and signed in your name. There is no requirement for any proof of identity or signature check at all.

The letter will ask for your Postal Vote to be sent to another address, the council will send a form to that address (not yours). That is then filled in, signed in your name and sent back to the Council, the Ballot Papers will be sent to that address in due course. That is how easy it is to steal your vote and the first you will know is when you go to vote and are refused. How to Protect Your Vote

There is another kind of Postal Ballot Fraud which has also been widespread. This is where Ballot papers have been collected from voters with the promise they will be delivered to the Electoral Returning Officer. The true vote is then tippexed out and a new cross entered against another candidate before delivery of the vote. The Electoral Returning Officer has, by law, to accept this vote even though he may suspect it is doctored.

The Government is fully aware of these abuses but refuses to change the Law to prevent them. It is worth repeating the Judge's scathing comments on the Government's position at the close of the trial :

".... official Government statement about postal voting which I hope I quote correctly, 'There are no proposals to change the rules governing election procedures for the next election, including those for postal voting. The systems already in place to deal with the allegations of electoral fraud are clearly working.' "

"Anybody who has sat through the case I have just tried and listened to evidence of electoral fraud that would disgrace a banana republic would find this statement surprising."

"To assert that 'the systems already in place to deal with the allegations of electoral fraud are clearly working' indicates a state not simply of complacency but of denial."

"The systems to deal with fraud are not working well. They are not working badly. The fact is that there are no systems to deal realistically with fraud and there never have been. Until there are, fraud will continue unabated."

Labour's Postal Voting Sytem Encourages Election Fraud.
Labour set up a new system for postal voting which was criticised and condemned as being wide open to fraud. No checks are required when someone applies for a Postal Vote and the person can ask for it to be sent to any address. There has been large scale fraud with postal votes being applied for without the voters knowledge and the forms sent to an accomodation address, ready to be filled in and the stolen votes then cast for the fraudster's candidate.

Government Refuses to Change its Postal Vote System:
Despite widespread calls for urgent changes in this dangerous Law the Government have refused to act - even in the face of the evidence which led to Labour councillors and officials being found guilty of using this for 'massive, systematic and organised' electoral fraud (Judge's words in italics and quotes). Labour Councillors and Party Officials found Guilty
6 Labour Councillors have been found guilty of election fraud on the day before the General Election is expected to be announced. It is reported that the Judge stated he was satisfied the fraud was "overwhelming" and had been orchestrated by local [labour] party officials. Criminal inquiries into other electoral frauds are ongoing in Reading, Cheshire, Derbyshire, Lancashire, greater Manchester and west Yorkshire.

Our View
Whether you intend to vote or not, your vote is yours to use as you choose. It is not something which some party official or candidate from the Labour Party (or any other come to that) can decide to steal from you and vote in your name. That is fraud and theft. Theft of your vote is the theft of something which is very personal, it can belong to nobody other than you. In Britain people fought for the right to vote and the right to vote for whom they chose without fear or favour or interference.

Vote rigging and vote theft is something which we expect in a Zimbabawe, where it leads to a 'Government' which is wholly illegitimate and despised internationally. We do not expect to see such things happen in Britain, but that is the prospect New Labour have created and have refused to put right.

Blair and New Labour sent British troops to die in Iraq to ensure that Iraqi's have the right to vote for a government they choose in proper elections without fraud or corruption. But at the same time Blair and New Labour brought in legislation which 'invites' electoral fraud in Britain; and then when faced with the proof of "massive, systematic and organised fraud" by Labour councillors, New Labour insist the law must stay.

That is why we must, each and every one of us, take steps to ensure that our vote is ours to use as we think fit and that it has not and cannot be stolen. Any less risks Britain descending into a 'Zimbabwe style' election and a 'Mugabe style' of democracy. How to Protect Your Vote
